Day 1 - Chennai
Arrive Chennai ( Madras ) You are greeted on arrival in Chennai railway Station / Airport by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon sight seeing of Chennai the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the East India Company, is one of the oldest cities of the country, Gandhi Memorial, Kala Kshetra, Mylapore temple and Marine beach.

Day 2 - Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Morning drive to by Car/Coach for Mahablipuram Via Kanchipuram (64 kms from Chennai (Madras)) is the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines also famous for its Sarees

Day 3 - Mahabalipuram
Enjoy a full day city tour absorbing the stunning rock carvings of Mahabalipuram The remaining Shore Temple is a World Heritage Monument Mahabalipuram.

Day 4 - Mahablipuram - Chidambaram - Tanjore
Morning after breakfast proceed to Tanjore Via Chidambaram. At Chidambaram visit Temple to witness their puja or worship ceremony. A Brief visit the auspicious Mahamaham Tank at Kumbukonam, Darasuram Temple. Reach Tanjore in the late evening and check in to hotel.

Day 5 - Tanjore - Trichy
After Breakfast sight seeing of Tanjore, the Big Temple of Brihadisvara is a World Heritage Monument and is a remarkable architectural feat similar to Egyptian Pyramids. Many of the treasures of Tanjore and the surrounding area are housed in Art Gallery and Mahal Library within the Palace. Afternoon drive for Excursion to Trichy. Explore the magnificent Ranganatha Vishnu Temple. View various religious ceremonies being performed by people on the banks of River Cauveryo with the ashes of their loved ones.

Day 6 - Trichy - Madurai
After breakfast drive to Madurai via the wealthy Chettinad area where the riches of these traders can be seen in their palatial homes, a superb example being the Chettiar Palace . Afternoon explore Madurai Meenakshi temple. Over night in Madurai.

Day 7 - Madurai - Periyar
Morning Drive to Periyar. Arrive Periyar and check into the hotel. Afternoon boat rides On Periyar Lake viewing Elephants, Antelope, Bison etc.

Day 13 - Mysore - Hassan - Bahur - Halebid - Hassan
Leave Mysore by Car/Coach for Hassan. On arrival Check in to Hotel. Rest day excusrision to Belur & Halebid.

Belur : - The sanctity of the town due to Channakeshava temple, one of the finest examples of the Hoyasala architecture. The Veeranarayana temple and the small shrines are well worth a visit.

Halebid : - The splendour of the city is attested by its architectural monuments which still rank among the masterpieces of the Hindu art. The Hoysaleswara temple dating back to the 12 th century is outstanding for its wealth of sculptural details. The walls of the Hoysaleawara temple are covered with an endless variety of goddesses, animals, birds and dancing girls.
